The Map
White´s first edition of Devonshire,
like White´s Essex of two years earlier, included a map executed by J & C
Walker for their British Atlas. The second edition of Devonshire also
had a J & C Walker map. Both have been adapted by the Walkers from copies
they were constantly updating, and the maps reflect the states (or versions)
seen in other works of the same year. The only major difference is the
inclusion of White´s imprint replacing that of the Walker brothers.
